To celebrate the announcement of this year’s Australian Book Council’s books of the year, we held a book character dress up day. We had wombats, wizards, Pippy Long Stockings and Where’s Wally, Spiderman, Transformers and even a Captain Underpants. Princesses and Boy. Lots and lots of fun.
Thank you to all our wonderful families for visiting Room 3 on Open Night. It was lovely to see so many parents in our class and celebrating the children’s achievements so far.
We’re busy already; making new friends and learning about each other. What a great start to a new year.
Learning to tell the time using a clock hat is so much fun. We got to guess each other’s time and talk about what activities we could do at that particular time of the morning or afternoon.
